The staff were superbly friendly and offered us a brand-new room with the master bedroom. The location was beautiful: a bakery and gift shops were within walking distance...
The staff - some of them were not very helpful.

Plenty of goodies for breakfast. The rooms with beautiful balcony and a kitchenette, for instance. Magnificent location in a very nice area just next door to ski lift, Mammoth Lakes, supermarket short.

The hotel is located at the end of the valley in Mammot Lakes, right next to the ski slopes. In winter this is certainly great. We only stayed there one night on our way from Vegas to Yosemite. The hotel is completely set up for pure winter operation. In summer there is no infrastructure whatsoever. All restaurants are closed, you can't even have breakfast. Instead, the hotel offers a free on-call taxi to the Village, a kind of retort tourist place with expensive restaurants, which has worked perfectly, but is tedious with family if you have been on the road all day. The interior of the hotel is very simple, better hostel with alpine decoration and has seen much better days. Especially the corridors and elevators look like original from the 70's and scared the kids. Altogether this was our worst accommodation in three weeks.
- no catering facilities at the hotel or within walking distance. - run-down ambience. - dark corridors and ways to the underground car park. - unkempt balconies . - completely overpriced for this equipment and not according to the hotel description

Comfortable rooms and beautful view. Refrigerator and other appliances Comfortable furniture and bed.
No air conditioning-bedroom was stuffy and hard to get to sleep. Didnt care for the extra $20 for emenities, that we did not use. Ok for winter, but could be eliminated in the fall. Location was poor, for our trip to visit the national park. Could have used some written instructions on how to use the tv.

I loved both the hotel and the landscapes! We were travelling California and it was a perfect place to relax and breathe pure air of the mountains. Clean and well prepared rooms and installations, excellent and super helpful staff who will attend every demand you have very nicely. Probably busier in winter, we went in August and it wasn't full at all, so you could enjoy all the amenities without crowds. We relaxed at night in the warm pool and the three jacuzzi on open air, after we sat by the fake fire and it was amazing! There is also some close restaurants and a very big supermarket open until 1 am. Highly recommended!

The facilities were excellent and exceeded our expectations
We had a very noisy first night's stay where the people above us received several warnings from the hotel to reduce their noise level. We were not the only room to have a problem on this evening and when we spoke to staff about changing rooms and the inconvenience of a whole night without any sleep noone offered an apology - we were simply told the guests were checking out. Such a shame that an apology and a token gesture were not offered. This disinterest did mar our opinion of Juniper Springs.

Staffs at JSR are very kind and friendly.
The speed of internet is too slow. They need to improve the quality of WiFi.

nice experience but some improvements needed
The pool was a nice feature. We appreciated the cable options that kept us entertained during downtime.
The kitchen facilities, while useful, felt a bit outdated.
